Zumba at JouleLife

 Zumba at Joule Life is a positive and uplifting experience.Classes are held in small groups in our beautiful studio in Mosman.  They are uplifting, enjoyable and great for your fitness.

Students return week after week for the zumba and the natural high that it generates. Classes are run over a ten-week term. The benefits of Zumba come from a regular and ongoing workout so if Zumba is for you, make it a part of your ongoing exercise program. Over time you will notice your fitness levels increase, body shape improve and you will feel happier.

Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto Beto Perez during the 1990s. Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. The choreography includes hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included.

Zumba is a weight bearing aerobic exercise that has numerous health benefits including tighter abs, improved balance and coordination, calorie burn, increased aerobic threshold, more stamina, increased bone density, improved balance and muscle tone, less body fat and lower blood pressure.

Any aerobic exercise provides a release of the feel good hormones, endorphins, which give you a natural high. The endorphin rush in Zumba is enhanced by the combination of slow then fast music beats, which makes you want to move your body and free your inhibitions. Endorphin release and the succeeding high translate to better and more upbeat moods so an extra benefit of Zumba is the relief of emotional and psychological stress.

What to bring

Wear casual clothes that are easy to move in; sports or other closed in shoes are advised. Please be sure the soles are clean!


  • Our group classes are run over a ten week period, coinciding with school terms. 
  • Bookings are essential and payment for the term is required in advance. 
  • Classes are $25 each. Ten week term is $250.

Terms & Conditions

Your classes cannot be carried over to another term however if you are unable to attend a class, you can invite a friend to take your place or attend a different class at a different time. We do not offer drop in classes as the benefit comes from a regular practice.

With strong passion for fitness and commitment to improve the health and wellbeing of her clients, Stella has been working as a Zumba instructor over the last four years teaching for gyms, studios and privates across Sydney.

With 20 years dancing experience, Stella is also a certified personal trainer. She combines fitness exercise into dancing movements to provide a perfect blast workout in Latin and international rhythm. Her Zumba class is for everyone, full of sweat, fun and energy. The movements are easy to follow, and all you need to bring is big smile, a water bottle and a towel.
