Coaching for individuals will cover all key areas of your life. You may be looking for specific help in your career or business however in the process we will focus on your relationships, finances and health. They are all important.
With your coach on your team, and together doing some work on your inner world, your life will be transformed. You will discover the benefits of functioning with kindness and compassion, and as you peel away the layers and become more transparent, you will love discovering your true self again. This is the ultimate pathway to success.
What to expect
We begin our relationship with a forty five minute complimentary session either face to face or over the phone/Skype. A coach client relationship is very special and it’s important to establish rapport before the formal process begins.
From here we will meet once a week, face to face or phone/Skype for a minimum of six weeks. At the end of our first session you will be given some exercises to do. In the next five weeks you will define your intentions, core values and an action plan. From here we can continue to work together to execute your plans and live your dreams.
Our Success Formula
We introduce you to The Success Formula - Simply expressed, powerfully effective – your constant reminder of what it takes to be successful.
Doctor who intends to change the world, completes PhD.
My client was a PhD student, concurrently undergoing specialist medical training. Working on his PhD for longer than he wished to admit, he came to me with the goal of getting it finished once and for all.
Having agreed that success would be achieved by finishing his PhD, this became his main area of focus, along with health, and his relationship. Everything else including his medical training was put on hold to achieve his goal. This took tremendous discipline and courage by my client, a high achiever, with a voracious appetite for life.
We looked at the negative thinking and limiting beliefs that were getting in the way of success. My client, a big brain with big ideas and a dream to change the world, had developed a blame mentality for not getting his PhD finished. When he stopped blaming and let go of his negative thinking, everything started to turn around.
It was a happy day when my client submitted his PhD. Even happier when he graduated at ANU, Canberra in July 2015, and celebrated afterwards at Boffins Restaurant with family, friends and coach. It was a wonderful milestone in this extraordinary man’s life.
"One of the many qualities I have valued most about Juli was the way she helped me learn focus and self discipline through using emotional intelligence and compassion, which is a quality that is essential for anyone I chose to work closely with."
"Your guidance, encouragement and belief in me when I truly needed it has been wonderful. I will be back for more as it was a fantastic process which has been life changing for me."
Mother realised greatest achievement in life
My client, mother to three high achieving daughters, and wife to an adoring husband, had a nice home in Brisbane, and worked part time supporting her husband in his engineering business. She had financial security and in other people’s eyes was living a successful life. Not in hers. She ‘felt like a lost soul, confused, unhappy and had forgotten what was important to her. She had no idea why.’
The first thing we did was get my client engaged in regular exercise. Every day she started walking, doing yoga or pilates. It wasn't long before she felt better in her mind and body. It requires discipline to get into a routine and this is one of the ways a coach can be helpful.
My client and I worked together to define what success meant to her. Not society’s definition. Before she came to me she was unable to see that raising three children was one of the most important jobs in the world. She was comparing herself to others, always a dangerous habit.
Together we identified and reframed many of my client's defining moments. This process allows clients to see that often they are not who they think they are. We give meaning to events that happen in our life and they become our story. It's important to question who we think we are and ensure we are living a life true to ourselves.
When my client was brave enough to reframe her thinking and let go of negative thoughts and emotions, an abundance of positive energy was released. As a result she felt happier, stronger and in a more creative space to set goals and put realistic time frames around them.
