Supporting the Cancer Council

Sadly, most of us have experienced first-hand the devastating impact cancer has on our family and friends. My mother Margaret, suffered from breast cancer and died in 1990. Throughout her brave 18 year battle with cancer Margaret never gave up hope and always maintained a positive mental attitude. Margaret was an enthusiastic, early supporter of the Cancer Council and joined a volunteer support group helping other women affected with the disease.

In honour of Margaret’s memory and to raise funds for the vital research work the Cancer Council is conducting, I have in previous years hosted Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea events at my home. This year is the first opportunity I have had to host this great event at my new business.

The Joule Life Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea is on at 11:30 am on May 24^th. Please come along and support this wonderful cause.
